Why?

Hats are sort of a billboard for your face, so why not wear a message that matters? What if, instead of a clothing brand or a sports team, you repped a message that resonated?

Our goal with every hat is to do one thing: spread the joy. We do this through two ways, facilitating connection, and laughter.

All of our hats contain simple messages with the goal of either A) making people smile / laugh with every sort of humour, or B) connect with others that share similar values and identities. Occasionally we strike gold and do both, ex: "Jesus Saves, I Spend", a silly play on a hugely important topic.

My Story

I love people. I firmly believe I was sent to this Earth to encourage others. But why hats?

I travel for work, and people are so serious in airports. I love to fly, so it's quite amusing to me, but I would wager people think I'm a little cooky walking down the aisle laughing for no reason.

So one afternoon I pondered, "What could I put on a hat that would make other people smile too?" FREE SMILES! Of course. How could you read that on a hat, see a guy smiling, and NOT smile?

After failing to find a FREE SMILES hat anywhere online, I set out to make my own. Aaaand, it was a complete flop, to date, I've had maybe two comments total, and people do not seem more likely to smile when I wear it hahaha. So back to the drawing board. After hours of browsing hat websites with little luck and lots of internet fatigue, the idea was born, make fun and encouraging hats easy to find.
